What the water in Latvia is like

Before choosing a system, it is worth understanding exactly what you are dealing with. Hardness of 10–14 °dH damages boilers, dishwashers and designer fixtures, because limescale settles on heating elements and shortens the lifespan of your appliances. Chlorine in the city water supply affects taste and smell. In private homes with their own well, the main concerns are iron, mechanical particles and microbiological safety. That is why we almost always begin with a water analysis rather than guesswork.

Reverse osmosis: drinking water without compromise

Reverse osmosis is the most effective way to get clean drinking water in the kitchen. The under-sink system purifies water in several stages and removes up to 99% of chlorine, heavy metals, bacteria and impurities. Our Supreme series includes both the budget-class RO-6 with six stages and the RO-8 Premium with eight stages and added minerals. If space under the sink matters, the tankless Direct Flow Clever is a great fit, with high output from 1200 GPD. In every case the result is crystal-clear water straight from the tap, with excellent taste for coffee and cooking.

Softeners and dispensers: comfort for home and office

While reverse osmosis takes care of drinking water, water softeners protect the whole house. They reduce hardness from 10–14 °dH down to 0–2 °dH, shield appliances from limescale and are gentle on skin and hair. The two systems often work together: a softener for the whole home and RO in the kitchen. For offices, cafés and hotels there are dispensers with hot, cold and sparkling water that connect to the mains and do away with plastic bottles. For private homes with a well we offer VIQUA UV disinfection, which destroys bacteria without chemicals.

Design, installation and complete service

We do not just sell a box and forget about the customer. The path is always the same: a free consultation, water analysis, a precise quote, installation, commissioning and regular maintenance. Installing a standard under-sink RO system takes 2–4 hours, a softener in the utility room 4–6 hours, while a full set of RO, softener and UV is installed in a single working day. After that we remind you about filter changes ourselves and deliver the set to your door. Emergency service in Rīga and Vidzeme is available 24/7. Since 2014 we have installed more than 500 systems in Latvia, Estonia and Finland, with an average rating of 4.9 out of 5.

NSF certification and warranty

Quality is backed by more than just words. Our Supreme series systems meet international NSF standards: NSF 58 confirms that a reverse osmosis system effectively removes contaminants, while NSF 53 covers health-related risks such as lead and microbes. The equipment is manufactured in the European Union, and for the Supreme series we provide a warranty of up to 5 years with full service support.

How often filters need changing

How often you change them depends on water quality and load. Pre-filters, meaning the sediment and carbon stages, are usually changed every 6–12 months, the membrane lasts 2–3 years, and post-filters 12–18 months. Latvian water hardness affects these intervals, so we keep track of your system's running time and send reminders automatically, so you never miss the right moment.
